    Why does this say Mono in the Format heading ? There are 27 tracks and supposedly just the 1st 3 are in Mono yet I can see nothing anywhere in the pictures or on my own CD or in the booklet that states the 1st 3 tracks are in Mono. Did I miss something ? Were those 1st 3 tracks never recorded in stereo ? Is this just Beatles common knowledge that one is supposed to know ?

      You just can't get any better than this for a Beatles compilation. 27 #1 singles!!! 5 out of 5 stars.

        Fifteen years later it remains one of the biggest comps ever, with great reason. If you're new to the lore of The Beatles, this CD is an essential start. As for sound quality, it isn't great, as all of the tracks were mastered at such a high volume that you may have to listen to this one at a lower sound level.

        Great booklet that features background on each of the 27 #1 singles.

        This CD is a strong introduction to the Fab Four, especially for younger ears.
