This was the first piece of electronic music that really made an impact on me, other than Switched-On Bach. I think it has aged very well. I still have the original album and play it. Makes me want to bump the Buchla Easel up my short list of Arturia synths to learn.

I have no idea what any of you idiots are rambling on about. What this record actually was, was the first commercially COMMISSIONED piece of electronic music.

On wikipedia it says he was the first composer with electronic music that was commissioned by a record company.
Really? Look at: Kid Baltan - Electronic Music

i found this jewel for .50 at a yard sale~mint condtion.Very worth the time.i can see a direct link between this Lp and many modern day electronic attempts of atmosphere. But still this one rivals and i am quite moved.Worth the collection alone for the lovely cover art.
