Loud and dynamic. Nice clear midrange. Very clean and enjoyable, don't notice any unusual amounts of noise.

There is definitely some background noise at times, but overall I would say the record sounds fantastic. It can play really loud, and the sound can be hauntingly dynamic.

Apart from some clicks here and there, the record sounds beautifully dynamic and very quiet in terms of surface noise. I was hesitating in the beginning, considering some harsh reviews concerning the quality of the press, but instead I was pleasantly surprised. Don't be scared, go and get it !

Noise is there on some of the quiet passages . The music does sound good, so a bit of a shame really.. I'm a mother is very noisy and it does distract from the music.. This album deserves a better pressing!

my copy sound good but the metallic parts of the back cover were kind of worn out :(

In the quiet passages of songs on my copy (especially in I Decline) you can hear a very quiet echo of a sound a second before the actual sound hits. What causes this? I assume it originates in the cutting process due to digital delay lines or something.

Another shoddy pressing courtesy of United. Too noisy for music with lots of quiet passages. Had the exact same problem with the previous Perfume Genius album. Not unlistenable, but definitely not quiet enough.
