Melancholic piano-beauty masterpiece merged in introspectiveness, ‘A Garden Of Peace’ was countless times sampled; sometimes, one line of instrument can be enough to make a timeless tune.

Lonnie Liston Smith remembers:
“What I did was playing the Grand Piano and overdubbed with the Fender Rhodes Electric Piano. So I had both pianos covering each other, but everything is so hectic, so rushing, that it made me build up this thing of listening and going to a Garden of Peace in your Inner mind… Jay Zee sampled it on ‘Dead Presidents’, and Mary J Blige sampled it on ‘Take Me As I Am’. I hope I have the opportunity to speak to them one day… tell them that they did a great job! Great productions, very professionally done!”
