Reviews
- A pretty decent E.P. I must say. Especially the intros on 'Communion' and 'Soma' are absolutely on point, great stuff to sample.
- This EP was very influencial for the hardcore/jungle era.
Soma and Electric sunrise were played by Top Buzz, most notably in the 91/92 Fantazia NYE set.
Soma was later sampled heavily in 'this is derranged' on NHS records (Doc Scott's label).
Just one example of a Belgian tune that influenced jungle.
I think this is why the term jungle techno came about. - The definitive release of Per Martinsen.
"Communion" features what is propably the best use of a Cello sample in a record.
