Made in Canada (weren't Big Shot records Canadian I know Landlord was?) but like so many records usually from Chicago, Detroit and New York in 1987/89 so synonymous with the start of acid house in London in 1988/89 and one of those maybe 100 tunes which sum up when what is sounded like in London back then as it all kicked off the whole rave scene that subsequently took over the world. Great days never to be repeated.

The NYC mix in particular still sounds absolutely incredible after all these years.

Phantom (5) Move Groove..Heard Dizzy Dee play this on Starpoint FM.. And yes! I was very . very surprised to hear the vocal back in 89... Shocked! ? I was about 17 so was looking up to these people! To this day I still feel the vocals are a bit much... I dunno ;)
But Dionne Come Get My Lovin' (NYC Mix) is obviously the classic! I love it! Helped me alot through my teenage years...And stills does? ... "Just take a chance" always stuck in my mind..
I didn't but there is still time..!
BigShot label is worthy of a check!

Big! The remix of Come Get My Lovin' is the one for me.

Absolutely huge... great vocals & catchy synth keys, plus a nice track to mix with it's clear beats. When people say old skool they will mention nonsense like SL2 'On a Ragga Tip'.

This is the real stuff, defining house music as the UK rave scene was taking off. A small piece of history, get it!

What a tune.Released in 1988 but really getting
recognised in "The summer of love 89" when it
was played at the biggest parties such as Sunrise
down to the smallest parties at your local .
This record was caned and caned big time,
no shit it was IMMENSE !

It was the first record that i was aware of
on the Canadian Bigshot label. And this label
was prolific releasing other classic tunes such as
Landlord "I like it",Index "Give me a sign" and
Amy Johnson "Let it loose" amongst others,
all of these are brilliant tracks in their own right.
But this track was the one ,literally .

You listen to any old school house dj on the radio
today and guaranteed they will play it every other week.
This tune has more than stood the test of time .Respect !
