"Vision 03" starts well but gets boring before the end. Still one of the enjoyable records of this musically overrated (but important) label.

'Vision 03' when I first heard it made me instantly think of some grand sea voyage, sailing into the blue, sunblind with no sight of land & the wind battering the sails while you enjoy being absolutely nowhere. It also punches above its weight on the floor, holding you in a trance while bumping you with clipped drums & a relentless, thick & perky bassline. To combine so much funk with such connoisseur electronics is a rare treat, making this, for me, one of the very best on Kompakt. Winner.

Wolfgang and Reinhard Voigt!

Dorn is like a evil brother to "Apple Electronics" by The Modernist. Typical volfgangvoigtpolkarythmic but a harder shorter loop with some minimal 303 in the mix.

Vision03 starts with some nice pads and plucked sounds and continues with a funky bassline and background 303. Nice relaxed melody up front and plenty of deep effects to stare into. The most discosounding song I've heard from Kompakt.
