After about 33 seconds into Transformer 2's track Virtual Cocoon, the opening rain shower transitions to a ticking clock and portal door slamming shut. That sequence was sampled from the Grid's Electric Head album, track 8, "The First Stroke."

This Cd is totally worth it just for Transformer 2's gorgeous Virtual Cocoon, an enveloping chilled-dub-electro journey from 1994 and not available on any other release. Like the missing link between Thievery Corp and Namlook & maybe Northern Exposure! Spent years trying to Id it, never would've thought it would be Transformer 2.
