Without a doubt, this is the best Scooter album! Love on first listening. Impressive production from the first to the last second, all tracks are connected together in very harmonic way - you have the feeling, that you just must listen to the end without skipping any song, because it wouldn't be complete experience for you. Most of the melodies are very relaxing and happy, that make smile on your face. :-) It's hard to pick the best tracks, but Scooter del mar, Zebras Crossing the Street and Break It Up are absolute classics for me, making me goose bumps every time. ;-) Scooter from the other side, very recommended record.

Is the track 'The First Time' taken from an older song or is it an original Scooter production?

What very few people know is that the song "When I Was A Young Boy" is almost identical to the Loop! Remix of the song "Babylon" by Prince Ital Joe feat. Marky Mark released in 1995, only the lyrics were changed. The Loop! remix team (at those times the same people as Scooter) already used this remix-the-remix method before, on the Scooter's first album the song "Waiting For Spring" is in fact reworked Loop! remix of the song "Parade" by Community Featuring Fonda Rae.

I've met Scooter at the age of 14 (more or less) with their Move Your Ass single. Uhh... And I always regarded Wicked! as one of the poorest albums made by Scooter...

          And now...

I've listened to it ten years after and I must say - I was totally wrong. This is probably their best album but it is still underrated, unfortunately. But it is really a piece of great performance. And the most interesting is, that both of 'pop singles' (I'm Raving and Break It Up) are totally not representative for the whole album. That's why people don't even know about such great tracks as When I Was A Young Boy (if those melody after chorus were a bit more louder...), Coldwater Canyon (wonderful one!), Scooter Del Mar (strongly connected with Cafe Del Mar's releases) and many others...

so, what can I say more... just listen and enjoy!

After so many stuff I've learned and listened, I can look back and this and say, this was a good album...
There are 4 tracks here where Scooter show their talent once again:

            Awakening (4:26)
            Coldwater Canyon (5:15)
            Zebras Crossing The Street (4:58)
            The First Time (5:27)

Altough Break It UP can be considered a nice slow single, and Scooter Del Mar nice ambient music... these kick it off!

Awakening is awesome Hardcore-Techno with a complete raving feeling and the special Scooter touch (a bit of MayDay nostalgia)... impressive!

Coldwater Canyon is simply BRUTAL! This is trance at it's finest, I still haven't heard anything just like this... brilliant piano and melody... impressive power...

Zebras Crossing the Street is actually a deep track (yup, I know, this is Scooter... SIBERIAAAA)... and it sounds awesome.

The First Time is nostalgic... the kind of track you dedicate to a lost love - very well composed

This is one of my all-time favourite cd's. It's strange though, when I first got it I thought it was crap and only liked about 3 songs. Now I like each song for different reasons.

Please give this cd a chance, I know I did and I'm glad I did.

It was my 3rd dance cd ever and still remains one of my favourites!

A very happy cd, very energetic and positive.
