The A-side was a hommage to Mette Stenstad from Skien, Norway, who became Miss Norway in 1963, and later Miss Europe the same year. The contest to the latter was being held in Lebanon, therefore it is mentioned in the lyrics. Her homecoming to Skien was also filmed and was edited down onto a newsreel (in full color) with Mette, Mette as the soundtrack song.
