Frank & Tony* – You

'Companion' is so gorgeous. Perfect lo-intensity hi-emotion fathoms deep house, beautiful in the way it slowly builds patiently. Listen closely and there's a sample of Michael Watford - Holdin' On in there too.. stunning. Great memories hearing this played in a few spots 2013/2014 including a particularly intense DJ set by Terre, deep in the mix.

This is one of those special records in a collection! A listening pleasure!

Worth every cent.
"Companion" by Frank and Tony with DJ Sprinkles is a masterpiece.
The deepest house with so much soul and beauty.
The lyric is very special to me.
"Help me.... all day.... help me."
My interpretation of this is in that we all have struggles in our lives.... Sometimes life is unbearable.
It is in these moments I turn to God to "help me.... all day ....help me."

A - Companion is such a good track, what else would you expect when frank & tony meet dj sprinkles - undisputed gods of deep. Originally purchased for a side alone but B1 is just as brilliant, that vocal gets me every time. 5/5

Incredible EP. Excellent representation of F&T's long flag pole on which they hang their distinctive, mournful brand of deep house. A side is 2014 track of the year for me.
