- Edited 3 years ago'Freddys dead" already released in another (better sounding) version in 1995, With the title 'Studio 19" https://www.discogs.com/Gene-Hunt-Living-In-The-Land-Pt2/master/862759
- Any idea when these tunes were originally made ? And as an other user pointed out this version is slightly over compressed.
- For my ears the new mastering is overcompressed, what hurts my ears and harms the 808 sound. To me it lacks dynamics. But most people will just state that it's banging like hell. To each his own.
More dynamics here (no I am not a seller):
http://www.discogs.com/Gene-Hunt-Gene-Hunt-Classics/master/670877 - The darkest gene hunt track I have heard. Freddy's Dead is an addictive straight nosed techno peak time track. Released on Halloween this is sure to be a annual event. Pay close attention to all the changes in the beat. Lots of additions through the track make it equally addictive as the melody. Pretty cool stuff
