"Beets" is the second installment into the "fruits into the underground series". Also in this series, Potatoes (A Collection Of Folk Songs From Ralph Records - Vol. 1) a collection of folk music.

Track 2 ("Clair", short for clairvoyant) is based on the changes to "E.S.P." by Wayne Shorter. This tune is highlighted with a trumper solo by the composer.
