Reviews
- Y’all must be spinning this on toasters or something cause my copy sounds clean and shiny as it should. Might be a little quiet but the sound is very smooth. Beautiful crack rock white pressing by the way and the gatefold tops it off perfectly.
- Edited one year agoTerrible pressing - not recommended! Too low volume, I will need to buy the album again unfortunately
- Great album but my copy of this was very meh, slight warp with the record but I can fix, vinyl is very quiet I had to use my amplifier to turn it up a bit to get it an audible volume, mastering is slightly distorted on We Got It For Cheap but other than it's a decent pressing
- Vinyl Me, Please is pressing this album for November's Hip-Hop Track. I came to see if this current pressing was worth it, but it doesn't look that way (expected with Get on Down). For anyone wanting a good pressing I'd say look into this one, VMP always does quality pressings!
- this record is a fucking mess, way too quiet and flat, you need to crank this record the fuck up if you even want to distinguish it, at that point you hear all the imperfections in the mix, but atleast the beats are so booming that it sounds good.
- Edited 3 years agoGorgeous white. Like others have said, kinda quiet and I've experienced minor surface noise on various tracks. Not disappointed at all though. Great album, the gatefold interior reeks of the bling era. How could you hate it.
- overall i’d say it’s a decent pressing, i wish they had spread it over two discs because this cut is super low volume and cranking the volume brings out the surface noise between tracks thankfully it’s not too noisy during the actual music but a 2 LP set would’ve undoubtedly been better
- Pretty rubbish pressing to be honest - too much noise & not enough range, everything very low in the mix - the white vinyl seems to have taken priority over the quality - shame
