Various – Red Laser Disco

If we take into account the tracklisting and the sound quality of this comp., the result is an outstanding x2 record. It's been a while I hadn't listened to something with such quality and care as to the recording. Even though each track is a delight, 2 pearls are standing out : B2 and C2.
So, I'll just repeat Il Bosco's recommendations for this work of art in every sense of the term : PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO THESE GEMS WITH CRAPPY LOUDSPEAKERS.

Can't be beat for high quality Italo! Worth it for Din Don alone!

This did get a repress so the ltd 300 copies thing is invalid.

It reads everywhere that this is limited to 300 copies, but I honestly find that surprising (suspicious?) since this has been out 5 months, has gathered a fair bit of interest and recognition, and yet is still available in major outlets (Juno, Phonica, Piccadilly at the time of writing).
Amazing comp nonetheless.

Possibly the best compilation I have heard in 2014. All tracks are great, but the stand-out for me is the C2, an absolute gem. I foresee this one the be in many house and disco DJ bags, but also to become a highly searched after collector's item, not only due to the exquisite musical quality, but also because of its beautiful and wonderfully detailed artwork!

This is just amazing. The pressing is of very good quality too.
