In fact this LP (or CD) is the compilation of these two 1989 killer releases on Trax Records & Not to be be confused with the 1985 Virgo project by Marshall Jefferson. This is Virgo Four & M.E.. A late Chicago house project by Merwyn Sanders and Eric Lewis. A must have for every serious house collector. Top quality deep Chicago house! PS: check out the Jackmaster 5 release if you're interested in other projects from these 2 producers like Siren, Rum Rummer, Sledgehammer, ...

Excellent deep music on this album. In A Vision & Take Me Higher are the pick of the bunch for me. That's not taking away anything from the rest of the tracks as they are all top quality productions.

I bought this album in 1989, and i thought it was excellent. It felt very mysterious, no photos of the artists and not much information on the sleeve kind of added to the deep and sometimes haunting sounds on the vinyl. My favourite track was School Hall, I think because at the time I was in my last year of school and was just leaving school and matched the sounds on the record to the images of my school hall. Some people use to mistake this Virgo for another Virgo from Chicago I always knew though it wasn't Marshall Jefferson's Virgo as I read M. Saunders and E. Lewis on the back of the LP sleeve in small print. In the early days of discogs they had both Virgos as one artist. This album is a must for any fan of early chicago house.

This is my favourite album of all time!
8 amazing tracks of the deepest Chicago sounds that ooze such quality in production and sound.
Think of the best tracks from Marshall Jefferson, Armando and Fingers Inc. rolled into one and you get the Virgo album.
A timeless LP that will always be in the collection.
Fortunately I managed to get a brand new copy a few years ago to replace my original that got battered at almost every party I played at.
