I used to hold a similar view of this EP as the other reviewer who calls it confused. For years I considered a noisy mess. However, it's simply closer to mind altering psychedelic noise and field recording collage than the orderly constructions of 4/4 clicks and pops on CoH's most famous albums. This is similar to Coil "Constant Shallowness Leads to Evil". Hear this with some LSD and you will hear the profundity and perfect intentionality of this music. It can change your life. Truly, transmissions from another realm. I have never heard anything like the sound design in "Prayer for Russell". This music is beyond genre and description.

Not one of the best works COH did, even if he collaborated therein with members of Coil. All in all a bit confused. Very nice packaging.
