I bought this Album, when it came out. It startet growing on me from the first listen, although it was very hard to grasp, but by and by it lost all of its imminent weirdness. However I wouldn't call it normal. All the music is intended to illustrate the bizarre and very humorous lyrics, creating an unseperable symbiosis.Great production, great sound, I consider this a total masterpiece invented by fantastic artists at the peak of their abilities.

This is really a Carla Bley album. She wrote all the music and lyrics. Robert Wyatt does almost all the singing. Really a Carla Bley/Robert Wyatt collaboration with Nick Mason on drums. If you like Carla Bley you'll like this album.

Amazing album which Carla Bley should get credit for, as she did most of the composing. Has Robert Wyatt singing 2 of his best performances EVER. A classic and one release that will always stay at the top of my choices as GREATEST RECORDINGS.

Some songs are... eh, okay, but for the most part this album is strong with some very weird song progressions.
