Well sadly this will never be reissued so treasure your copy as an artefact of the time because it ain't coming back. Robert has `retired' it I wonder why ? (I think we all know). Great album but it just isn't the same without the Indiscretions, and as indiscreet as they are, they were an essential part of it. Even the plinky keyboard studies which now sound horribly dated.

As others have said, this is a very interesting, and very strange, album. One of the most interesting experiments here are the two "Pareto Opimum" songs. Listen to them with headphones, if you haven't, and then listen to them again without headphones. Then you'll see what's going on in these two songs.

a 32 disc boxed set of all the crimson-hiatus stuff..... except this banging set. a frustrating omission.
you've got to think that there's some legal reason for it. :-/

seven of the pieces appeared on a 1985 CD that brought them together with 'god save the king' & 'under heavy manners', but he took all the audio-verité off, & so the whole thing lacks its original vibe & context.
what's going on, mr fripp? we want to hear this spragged group of young men, & sara.

Why Why Why did this never get a CD release, but rather the a comp of League of Gentlemen. It's just not the same without kicking off with Indiscreet 1. Don't get me wrong... the God Save the King comp is very good, as is the CD release of Exposure, but damn, I loved this album on its own, as arranged. The vinyl's cheap at least, but nothing reissued beyond 1981.
