La planta que se alcanza ver en la portada es un Kyote en las baleares. Este "esparrago" como le dicen en las islas crece del los agaves mexicanos o "pitreras" que fueron traidas a las baleares despues de la conquista de Mexico hace mas de 500 años. Muchos dicen que de estas plantas de puede hacer un destilado de agave similar al Mezcal.
Edited one year agoMy favorite MFM release. Great compilation of Bibiloni's best that highlights his wide range. Played it throughout my trip through Peru and it fit the scenery like a glove. Highly recommended in any format.
The mallorquin guitarist Joan Bibiloni is an eclectic artist/producer very respected & admired by the generation of balearic local music lovers that discovered his music in the 80's /90's (myself included...).This compilation focuses on his more "experimental" earlier solo work: it's not boring/pretentious new age, neither is trivial balearic chill out,it's a unique ambient fusion that reflects the singularity of the balearic islands because Joan Bibiloni is a real artist, a virtuoso!
Now,thanks to Music From Memory,this truly unsung versatile artist can be rediscovered and valued...Hooray!
