Notes
Published by Northern Songs. Recorded: December 1967. (On Sleeve), Published by Apple Publishing Ltd. on label.
Special thanks to friends loops and all the staff at EMI Bombay.
In addition to the SAPCOR 1 catnum stamped into the run-out groove, there is also STAP 1 with a line crossed through it (this was originally going to be the catnum).
Several songs on this album are sometimes included on one 'track' on the LP (e.g. side A has 5 tracks, and side B has 7 tracks). The tracklisting that appears below is the one that appears on the official artwork and vinyl labels.
Here nearly same release but with Stereo printed on bottom right : Wonderwall Music

- Despite being an avid Beatles collector I've just stumbled over this album only last week – and since then it hasn't left my turntable. Incredibly beautiful. Strictly instrumental. It fits every single personal mood from sad to super-happy and (the German 1st pressing in my case) sounds stunning. How could I live without this album for so many years? It's so absolutely underrated, I don't get it. Perfect for a summer road trip, too!
- If you are looking for a Beatles style pop album, stay away.
If you are looking for a great instrumental tabla and sitar album, look no further.
I adore this album, the progression and diversity of the tracks. Also the clarity of the UK mono pressing is superb. Highly, highly recommend as one of my favourite albums. - Absolutely won-won-wonderful record with some great instrumentals throughout the entire album and it's poppy to boot, wow!
Should've been more noticed.
;-) - Absolute crap record some ok instrumentals but entire album and poppy to boot wow should've left it alone.
- On my copy the recording is all top end and no bottom. This makes it quite unpleasant on the ears. However, the music itself is interesting. An eclectic mix of east meets west, quirky at times.
- i have a german version with the number catalog number shze250 on, any idea what year this could be?
