- I also have the Liberty stereo pressing, with each side looking like "Side 1" VAN GELDER on runouts. It sounds very good and given the cost relative to this pressing is a good way to go. Having said that, this Plastylite pressing doesn't have any of the at times harsh glare of Joe's sax that appears on the Liberty pressing. Expensive for a fidelity reason as well as for being a 1st pressing.
IS it possible that the ear is missing? Having the Van Gelder stamped, NY address but no ear? Thank you.
