Turmeric is more flat-out harsh than his other recent stuff, and contains a lot more organic and "concrete" sounds, it's almost like a return to old at times. To me, it comes across as late 80s or early 90s Merzbow with some low digital bass thrown in, and lots of variety, not a bad thing at all. It's not my favorite of his recent stuff, but it's definitely worth checking out if you can.

Oh, and also, you can glimpse Thurston Moore wearing the Turmeric shirt from this package on the inner tray pic of Sonic Youth's "Rather Ripped", neato.
