Reviews
- Edited 4 years agoI agree with the last review. The first track stands out for a wonderful start, progressing with a simple yet precious melody accompanying the base. After that they are all fantastic pieces, but Portal 7 gives a fantastic Thronwagen psychedelic feel (one of the most beautiful tracks from him).
Even without melodies the impact is enormous. Furthermore, Vril doesn't necessarily need compromises to create his works of art, and that indicates his great capabilities in music. What he feels he creates. He's a pioneer in Techno/Dub Techno music and one of my favourite artists in these genres, if not the favourite among all and every album is a new experience to live, a new way to interact with sound. So it's always a chilling atmosphere around a new release, but surprisingly none of the oldest releases gets old by any mean, they are "beyond time" remain always fresh and ready for a new listen.
I can't wait to collect every single Album and EP by Vril, for a highly valuable collection. - Repetitive, shapeshifting Techno from start to finish - no melodies, no compromises, no exit. Probably one of the most important releases of the genre in recent years.
