Strut did such a nice job with the reissue, I wonder why there are no musician credits? In the liner notes Astatke mentions "the sax player" but he is never named -- any have any insight into this, or know who played on the sessions?

On his bandcamp, the label says :"Strut present the first official reissue of a landmark album in the field of African music, Mulatu Astatke’s ‘Mulatu Of Ethiopia’ from 1972".
So it seems this a total legit reissue. I think Strut is a serious company. I can be wrong...
Right, the mono LP is really good, better than the stereo one.
      Love this release.

Same comments as below, My copy came sealed, but was warped to a degree that it was barely playable. The mastering sounded flat. Origins of the repress are indeed very unclear and I highly doubt it is completely legit. I would not recommend buying this record unless you are sure about the quality of the vinyl.

Can someone please tell me how to tell the difference between the original and the reissue? Thank you!
