I paid an embarrassingly silly amount of money for this when it came out via a mail-order auction - no, I've never heard of anything like that since either.
Still a wonderful slice of nostalgia from an era where lawyers weren't quite as hip to the copyright laws as they are nowadays ;)

What a tune. You have to go for the original for any serious record collector. A wonderful mash up, when rare groove ruled the airwaves. It's hard to actually find the original sleeve with Coldcut stamp on it as only 500 issued. I have seen 4 copies and only one of them had the original paper sleeve.

Rare groove was pretty big in London back in '87, Matt and Jonathon had an early morning weekend show on Kiss. They were totally out there when it came to the playlist, not much escaped thier genious. Good to see this getting the respect it deserves. One other thing, The funky drummer cut used to get some play in the clubs, like the Mud, Delerium and RAW. Good TiMES!!
