I would say the sound quality of this albums differs from track to track: the opening is full of punch, the rest of side A sounds all lacklustre and thin to me. Deal With The Preacher causes fire again… the rocking songs seems to be way more prominent that the more ballad-like ones. Especially the drums could have sounded a lot richer.

I cannot find this particular pressing that I have. It is a US pressing, no barcode. The jacket catalog number is 8502, but the label shows 8503. The label shows it to be a Monarch pressing (ST-SS-753525-MO) But, there is a 'PR' in the deadwax (Presswell?)

I wonder what the hell pressing this is? I'm trying to add it to my collection, but... Any help? 😊 Thanks!

Mine’s just gone through the Audio Desk and sounds crackle free and very punchy.
Always liked early to mid 70’s Island pressings. They have a very sweet and fulsome sound to them. Be it Sparks , Roxy or Bad Co not to mention still reasonably priced.

I'm wanting a quality pressing of this record. Can anyone recommend whether or not I should try to search for the orignial UK pressing, or a 1st run of any of the US pressings? It seems like SwanSong probably sent out the most copies. Any tips would be appreciated.
