Reviews
- Edited 5 months agoNo relation to the Spanish band of the same name, this is a superb Polish progressive artist. Amarok is essentially Michal Wojtas and a shifting lineup of other musicians he recruited to realize his vision. On Amarok’s 2001 debut CD, there is one (female) vocal number that sounds similar to early Quidam or Karnataka, but the album is predominantly instrumental, with influences of Pink Floyd and especially Mike Oldfield, as well as several other progressive styles.
