In my opinion, Love Is The Drug is probably the most overlooked track of the prog house era, likely because it arrived just a few years late. The dance music scenes in NYC/London were in total confusion during the early aughts with big room prog house quickly giving way to intimate, grimy electro and rock-dance clubs (or terrible bottle service VIP lounges in the Meatpacking District). Love Is The Drug is an impeccable example of vocal progressive house production — but I never once heard this track played out in an NYC club because quite frankly there were not many clubs or DJs playing this style anymore by the time 2006 rolled around. Definitely worth a listen and respect!
