I don’t play this often, out of 90% of Eurythmics albums/singles i own, this is LP has been mastered very quiet, even the streaming version hasn’t got a lot of volume. Not sure what Jellybean and Kevorkian were thinking. The mixes themselves are good - but the sound/surface of the LP itself is quite abrasive. The copy I own was sealed when purchased in 2019.

"Annie Lennox has said in interviews that she disliked the record, as it was too much of a commercial product and was put together by RCA with little involvement from her and Dave Stewart."

I'd say that this is far less commercial than the Touch album, so, I have no clue what she could possibly mean, other than that she didn't like it.
I reckon that as a whole, it is better than the regular Touch album, as I do return to this Dance album every now and then, but rarely bother about Touch.
