Am playing my original now for the first time in years. Forgot how great it is. Saw Matthew and Dani play it live at a weird venue in Kings Cross, London in 98.

Timeless record. It will never sound dated. Arguably the best house/deep house album of all times. Excellent companion for cooking, cleaning, coffee-talking with a friend, pre-partying, partying, after-partying, drifting and love making.

Anyone know what all the different colour re-issues mean? Pearl (or Sperm lol) White seems to be exclusive to Bleep - yes? Then there's a dark blue which is "limited" but available at a few places, and a sky blue "Special Anniversary" version on BC and also other places. Plus the standard black ofc.

          Que?!

1998... Crikey! Unbelievable how Herbert was making stuff like this nearly 20 years ago, that still sounds so fresh and so heartbreakingly brilliant today. My copy came in a plain maroon sleeve, with a glossy photograph of Herbert and Dani S waltzing in their kitchen glued to it. Super stuff, Genuine 5/5!

bought the cd about 14 years ago, liked it a lot. rediscovered it a few days ago and bought the damn vinyl without thinking it twice. It has to be one of the best house music albums ever! dani siciliano´s voice is the smoothest thing, the kind of music that heals your soul :D

It's interesting this album is going for less than the other early Herbert LPs on here. It's a great piece of work. Goin' round, close to me... yeeeah! Clicky funk my titties.

This is probably the best album ever produced . Herbert just took the best ingredients of deep house and worked together with very fineJazz-Musicians like Phil Parnell on keyboards. Plus the lovely voice of Dani Siciliani . A compilation of the best PHONGRAPH 12"es and some exclusive trax make this a well rounded work of art , which is as close to perfection as possible . Herbert reached his peak with this one . Maybe some prefer the first Parts (1,2 &3 ) but since these lacked dani's exquisite vocal abilities , they just do not reach this standard . A wonderful cover with pictures fom Dani's back in a snake skin dress and one showing Herbert's hand playing the piano inside just add to the overall perfection . Mastered at The Exhange by NILZ on 3 pieces of delicious vinyl - definitely one of the records for a lonely island ..
