Really this is a gem from the mid 90s by none other than a member of Drome Mr. Friedmann. Dubby, quirky, funky and exotic electronica that could have passed as a release on the US label Waveform. Music here is well placed in the stereo field and is hypnotic in an almost lounge like way. Friedmann does not object to odd film and commercial tv snippets thrown in for good measure. Track #3 could have easily been mistaken for a Madlib composition. This is why I loved the 90's people where willing to make intelligent electronica not necessarily for the dance floor consumers!
