First pressings are released in a laminated flipback cover on a yellow/green Harvest label without an EMI boxed logo on it.

UK 1st pressing information must include the following :

- “MADE IN GT. BRITAIN” at bottom of label.

There are 4 variants of Matrix/Runout with SHSP 4007 A-1G and SHSP 4007 B-1G stamped + A 1, M 1, G 1, T 1 in different combinations around.

Similar to Syd Barrett - Barrett released later in 1970 with a textured flipback cover and small difference of Matrix/Runout

Hi, i don’t know a lot about vinyls, but i have a barrett laying, which im not sure of what version it is and what its worth. Any tips?

My version resembles the 1970 first pressing, however the label is black and white rather than green and yellow. I can't find any other cases of this, any help?

Just purchased the 2014 reissue on 180 gram vinyl. I have never really gotten in to hearing Syd's solo work, but have always been a big fan of the early Pink Floyd albums. This album features some very good psychedelic tunes and are surprisingly easy to digest. Some of the songs may be a little to far out for the "casual listener" but I think psych fans will definitely find some gems on here.
Production wise, it is a surprisingly good sounding album as well (maybe it was remastered for this 2014 release), with a nice clear and warm sound, at least on par (or maybe even better) than Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother (which I love as well) released around the same time.
If you like any form of mellow and relaxed psychedelic stuff, this album is definitely worth a listen.
