Manufacturing Error Replacement Program
*******************
Some copies of this record, notably in the serial number range 11,000 and the serial range number 14,500 (there may be others), have a manufacturing aberration in track B1 "Walk Of Life". On this particular lacquer and resultant stampers at one point the extreme bass proved difficult to track on some, but not most, turntables. New stampers were subsequently made. Mobile Fidelity acknowledged the problem and by August 2019 was providing replacement discs only via the original vendors or directly to the original purchaser who bought from Mobile Fidelity or Music Direct. The faulty platters were to be returned to MoFi and destroyed. The limited time for exchanges/returns has a yet-to-be-determined expiration date.

The replacement discs BaOI information for serial number range 11,000 and the serial range number 14,500 (there may be others) is as follows:
A Side Runout: MFSL2-441 A1 22624.1 (3) KW@MoFi
B Side Runout: MFSL2-441 B3 24168.2 (3) KW@MoFi

Picked up a copy recently, sounds incredible. This pressing is dynamic, big, and satisfying. 5 stars!

I just received a copy of this today. And I have to say that it sounds amazing!
I have #029927 and it does not have the replacement disk according to the runout…B2.
There’s no skips on W.O.L., or any problems whatsoever on either records.
Both records are flat, and no noise in between songs.
Turntable: Marantz TT-15S1 with AT OC9XSL MC cart
Phono Preamp: Pro-Ject DS Tube Box
      Integrated Amp: Muzishare X7
      Speakers: RTR HPR-12M

My copy #011626 is flawless in my setup with AT150MLX or AT OC9MLX. Sounds incredible.

If there’s a flawless record, it’s this one. #009760. Makes this silly obsession (vinyl) completely worth it.

I have two copies both are over 25,000 in the range and both copies refuse to play on my LP12, awaiting feedback from the seller.

My copy is #8877 and has the skipping issue on "Walk of Life". HOWEVER, I tried the penny rule (put a penny on top of the headshell) and it solves the problem.

(MFSL is still shipping B2, and only offering B3 as a replacement if you ask for it)

There's a skip on 'Walk of Life' after Mark Knopfler's "Wahoo" when played on my SL-1300 MK2 & Grado Green3.

Edit: After upgrading to a VM95ML, I no longer experience this issue.

Have unintentionally imagined being at a Dire Straits concert staring at the stage a few times on my first listen. First for me. 10/10 record pressing. Incredible.
