This is extremely fast for 1992. Futuroid / Breakage #4 are on the jungle tip really ahead for the time.
I love all 4 tracks, but the best tune in here is ''Survival''. What a tune is this, first heard it in June 1993 probably from ''The Dark Side - Hardcore Drum & Bass Style'' compilation on a mixtape recorded by a friend from the radio and i was blow away.

I think this is the best 3rd party 12" to be honest, reggae speedy hardcore on A1 with iconic vocals especially 'Boy is this too much', 'the future' I think is reserved for Breakage #4 the most well know of the breakage tunes.

'Survival slows down to a more relevant speed but still displays all the characteristics of the archetypal hardcore jungle record, arguably just a jungle hardcore piano roller from the start (but lets leave the 'first jungle record' argument for another time).

B1. Straight from the Bedroom steps the tempo back and reintroduces the deep reggae vocal mixed alongside the east london wide boy 'Now jump all junglist crew, brok-out' a masterpiece of a record alongside anything put up against it these days (2019).

and what do we say about B2 - Breakage #4.... 'THE FUTURE', I guess that's all that needs be said about that... if you don't know, you better get to know...

This really has not gone up in price massively over time this was 30 quid in 2006 when I got it . Would I pay 70 for it now no way . Would I pay 100 for others . Yes I would

Straight from the Bedroom is a 1992 tune at 170bpm... Music from the future, Kemet were far ahead of the game!
