Why did the price of this explode words words words

Sides C&D had a very strange marking on it, almost like the record was burned? It made the first 2-ish songs virtually unplayable on both sides. Don't know if this is common.

I'm not particularly impressed. The cover art is unusually low resolution, one of my labels is separating from the record and it looks like water damage (but nothing else is water damaged??) and most importantly, all the quiet parts have a noticeable hiss in the background. Better off sticking to digital with this one. The record sleeves have nice high resolution photos, though.

Update: The record label on side D actually had another label pressed on top of it! I've never seen this error before, there was a completely separate label on top of the actual label that's adhered to the record. It was wrinkled and only the very edges were even adhered to anything. I peeled this off and exposed a perfectly clean label. Anyone else have this error?

Vinyl release seems to be very quiet from a mixing standpoint...
