Reviews
Camouflage has had a resurgence since the turn of the century. And they sound rejuvenated in a more mature sound these days that seems to fit the lead singers voice better and their want to play deeper more meaningful electronic sounds. Crisp production and good pacing through the cd this could be their best album yet. Misery, Leave Your Room Behind and Laughing are immediate favorites. I think the difference is that there are no really bad songs. Or perhaps for my liking it's a bit reserved and muted. Normally a track like If would be a little bit too poppy and it's still my least favorite on the album but with this heavier and deeper production it doesn't annoy...and the better songs all get even better. Overall I am pleased with this album. And long time fans should really enjoy this. The future looks bright with this band.
