Just want to mention how much fun Mrs.Blowpop 'Sonic' is. Ignore the comment below. It has a great amount of deepness and early 90s flair. I wouldnt call it euro but its got some more popular sound of 1993 mixed with some creditable parts. Like someone said, in the hands of the right dj...

I think all the tracks here are still playable and have their charm. If you think any of this is cheesy, you will enjoy it more and more as you get older. I have, 30 years on next year...Hardkiss brothers legend continues to grow...

The star here is " I feel It " by Gavin and is worth the price of admission.

For those seeking this for I feel it check out this repress of the track. I have both versions of this and the pressing on this record is better than fabulous' pressing by a long shot and is very much near identical to the Hardkiss version. Side by side on matched carts the sound difference is minimal and if I had to say I prefer the repress. I will save my hkooo1 for special occasions when I want to have the visual of the hardkiss release on the decks.

"You say you want a revolution..." is the inscription in the run-out.

Genius sample usage and yes, a mash up. Take the jangle from the Smiths "William It Was Really Nothing", the guitar from Cocteau Twins "Lorelei" and a chorus shouting "all night long" probably from Lionel Richie and one or two other choice samples and you have yourself a party rock anthem called Joy.
The rest of the ep is for the most part average to good. Given the proper dj treatment and placement, Arabia and I Feel It are workable and capable of getting some results and surely to get some heads running with wtf! pasted on their faces. Forget Mrs. Blowpop tho, it's crap.
