Guys! Is this reissue better than original 4LP or not?

Lovely pressing, none of the downloads appear to be the claimed 24bit however. My DAC, which is more than capable of 24bit playback, reads them as 16bit in both FLAC and WAV formats.

The quality of this pressing is unlike anything I've ever heard. Amazing deep and warm. Incredible, bar none. And obviously the album itself is spectacular. Top top 5 disc set.

Posted to my Instagram last month, reproduced here:

"Oh man, THIS album! 💯💯💯

Ok, bear with me here: this is one of my favorite albums ever. I remember everything about the moment I first heard it.

It was late one night in December 2016, right as I was getting into my car. I had just turned the radio on and after switching through a couple stations, I landed on KMHD to listen to Beat Parlor—my usual weeknight drive time soundtrack.

Just as I was about to head out, THIS remix of 'Useless' by Depeche Mode came on. It blew me away pretty much immediately; the bass revved everything up first, making way for these pristinely crisp drums—and Dave Gahan's voice, of course, was the inimitable light in the dark.

Although I'd listened to Kruder & Dorfmeister before, I had never heard anything from this particular album. It was such a detailed mix; every beat was right in place. I was transfixed. I don't think I even started driving until the song was over.

I listened to The K&D Sessions endlessly in the months that followed. I was lucky to finally nab this copy of it straight from K7 Records' online store recently, and it has to be one of the best reissues I've ever seen: an imposing five LP gatefold set with TWENTY-TWO songs, remastered to perfection. To me, it is a standout example of the vinyl format.

I can't recommend this album enough. It fills the air with energy when it's on in the background and captivates in the foreground. It's perfect for working, studying and hanging out, night or day—and it doubly rewards dedicated listening. Please check it out if you ever have the time."

The 5 LP version is stunningly recorded, mastered and pressed.
It is dead silent between tracks and has a big warm and detailed sound (as well as being outstanding music too!).

This re-release/re-master by Bernie Grundman and pressed by Pallas does not disappoint.
As mentioned by others - worth every penny :)

Spectacular remaster for vinyl, worth every penny (or cent), and, as already said earlier, I also recommend getting this straight from K7 till the stock lasts, got mine a couple of days ago from them. The remastering for vinyl is amazing. The tracks aren't mixed, so they do provide a slightly different angle on the original. Like me, you've probably heard these two mixes hundreds of times, but this release does bring out details that I'd never noticed before.
As for the "noise" issue mentioned here, K&D did use some of their vinyl records back when putting the original mixes together, crackle & noise included, in some tracks. So that's become part of the track's DNA, so don't panic. I can confirm that all five of the plates from the copy I received from K7 have no noise issues, everything sounds pristine and the dynamic range is fantastic. Straight from the first track, the record sounds punchy, airy and detailed, and there's lots of space around the different elements of the tracks. Highly recommended.

Hello, for me the 3rd vinyl record has a problem of manufacturing with melted plastic glued to the tracks all around, how is it possible that the manufacturer does not check its manufacture is a shame ?

Sonically, just amazing. They've done a wonderful job with the mastering. If you think it'll sound digital and electronic, don't worry. It doesn't. Also very different from th CD version, so you won't be getting a copy.

Tested 4 copies, all with same noise at D1. Anyone else with that problem? Otherwise the remaster is great, amazing sound! Full tracks, NOT partially mixed, so versions differ a bit to CD release, that makes it unique.
