Reviews
- It plays well. I bought it sealed for $30 and the first time I played it there were no audible pops, clicks, or hissing. Just perfect. There is a lot of depth to this pressing, as it really does sound like they are playing right in front of you. Aside from that, all of the tracks are stellar. Their Paris Theatre performance is definitely a must-listen for every Zeppelin fan.
Some facts on the Paris Theatre 1971 performance:
They played some songs on LZIV, notably Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven, and Going to California, months before the album was released. Just an observation of mine- those three tracks were played nearly identical to the original studio version, probably because they havent explored improvisation yet for soon-to-be released tracks. I have a theory that the solo on Paris Theatres Stairway to Heaven was an early rendition of the solo.
Thats all. 10/10 record. Cheers.
