- Edited 7 years agoHuge EP from Hazard, when he really started cementing his name as the big boy of DnB producers ..
For me, the EP is all about the title track, which has been probably one of the least played so always a nice treat when it's pulled out, but it really is an EP of 4 big tracks. Any one of these could have had it's own release.
All the way starts off with a sinister sounding intro with trademark film samples then goes into Hazard's flangey beats with nice, rolling but dark bass stabs.
Kryme watch, although my least favourite on the vinyl due to it's detuned bass (which actually makes the tune) was played by Brockie, Sly and loads of others. It is basically Heads must roll's crazy cousin. The nice, friendly rolling vibe has gone and has turned into a bit of a monster ..
Murder tonight is very different from Hazard at the time and probably features the highest production values on the whole ep. A proper Jungle roller featuring sound system samples ,wicked sublow bass and beats reminiscent of Long dark tunnel. This tune goes off when played, many a DJs secret weapon, especially if people know it already and know the main man is behind it.
Finally Talk like a girl, a D minds/Alien girl-esque bassline over Hazard's rolling beats make this a firm favourite that still gets slipped in now and then today
