Epitome of late 90's/ early 00's deep house. Bought this at Tower Records ( ah, the memories) in the Castro in SF right when it was released and I still listen to it once or twice a year. I've been successfully tracking down all the tracks from this mix on vinyl and most of them are better than 99% of the house coming out recently. Volume 2 isn't as stunning, but worth a listen nonetheless.
