I thought it was a kick to listen to pre Hendrix Experience Hendrix. You can hear him forming his own style amid the traditional rhythm and roll combo that was Curtis Knight and the Squires. You can even hear where bands like this influenced later rock bands-there is a track that echoes Led Zeppelin to come in terms of the bass/drum work. Overall I think this release is really just for hard core fans of Jimi Hendrix-its not really for the average listener.
