This recording never sounded better than nowadays. Full respect to Kevin & Justin & Jon & the rest whom were involved in this beauty.

I'm saying nothing more than this being one of the best ambient album ever made: listening to "Evil Spirits Angel Dust" gives me a true immersive mental experience very time.

I have a non faulty version so they do exist!
there is no way to distinguish the faulty/non faulty versions without playing them it seems, certainly the disc matrixes are no help

another innovative release in Virgins Ambient Series
        i prefer disc 2

A deranged excursion into the bleak, dark heart of electronic music! Desolate, isolated and extremely warped sounding mutant hip hop beats are enveloped with melted, liquid drones and menacing abrasive effects. The second disc is a real beauty and a real trip into some serious psychedelic Beatless electronics but, absolutely superb!! Truly next level!!
This is a real beast of an album and heavy going at times but what an experience and certainly not to be missed!! 666 is the number of the beast.
          PLAY LOUD!

Nope the tracks on disk two are different than disk one. Disk two is entirely beatless/ambient if I recall right, where disk one is filled with dub sounds and beats.

Yep, one of the key albums in the mid-90's melting pot of ambient and other compatible musics: coruscating industrial, hip-hop and isolationist dub as heavy as tamazepam. The second disc, despite being beknighted by the presence of Jon Hassell's narcotic trumpet playing, is one heavy and grueling dose of ambient dubplate. Yet oddly enough not too much of a real downer. Inspired and a real aural feast for the zeitgeist of that post-rave time. Highly recommended. 5/5

This is one of the most intense albums out there, super trippy, lots of drones and echo and hypnotic sounds, some with beats some without. A couple of the tracks have trumpet from Jon Hassell, exotic mutated trumpet similar to some of his other works. Listen to it loud or with headphones on and prepare to be blown away.
