Very good sound and some beautiful tracks and moments on this album, but it is disparate and disjointed - I just don't think that it hangs together. A grab bag.

Style description is wrong. Vangelis' music is not and has never been ''synth pop''.

See You Later the final track makes this cd worth owning. Ill be the first to admit this is again Vangelis trying explore territories not unlike he had with Jon Anderson but there isnt too much vocal on here. You can hear that famous Roland vocoder and Yamaha synth he later made timeless on the Blade Runner sound track.

The version of Memories Of Green on this album sounds cleaner than the version found on the soundtrack to Blade Runner. If you listen to the Blade Runner version, the high notes have a bit of distortion.

Not as bad as critics say. It's a bit silly at times but on purpose. A bit like The Friends of Mr. Cairo but not as complete. It's definately Vangelis. 3/5 - There's also an expanded version of this album but it's not worth getting into. The best half is on this official disk. Those left-over-tracks are very silly except for the marvelous track Gestation. They could not include Gestation on the official release do to copyright reasons.
