- Yes, a great album by an exceptional group which transcended the disco era. The ability to write catchy tunes with great harmonies and those sweet strings, which is sadly missing in a lot the black music today. This group was truly well ahead of their times and thank you Chic for providing us with great tunes.
Edited 6 years agoThis album is a masterpiece. First you have "Good Times" which helped bring in the 80's hip-hop era when rappers (SugarHill Gang) began rapping over the groove. Then "Will You Cry" ohhyeah those strings!! "What About Me" classic! "Warm Summer Night" so smooth with silky Latin vibes coming in. This record transcends the disco category, a blueprint album with no fillers, classic and pure class!- I have this album with identical information except:
