- Edited 5 years agoYeah, have to agree. This really is an excellent EP and I can see why it has been so hard to get hold of a copy on vinyl (only took me 2 years lol). Moresounds is becoming more and more popular because every release that I've heard is an absolute banger. The four tracks featured here showcase Germain's love of Dub, Reggae, African and Jungle/D & B rhythms, put together in a way that I think is truly unique. All four tracks in my humble opinion are worth the price of the release alone. Along with the Outer Spaces EP on Original Cultures, Etho/Gwan Fire on 31, the Peng Teng remix on Roots & Future and Mutation Experts on Cosmic Bridge, Moresounds is rapidly establishing an extremely strong body of work across some of the most forward thinking labels out there. Seriously - buy on sight, you won't regret it. Top drawer, essential vinyl......now ease up
- 4.5/5 - Incredible EP from the Parisian Tubby disciple. Reality tune hits hard with a brooding bassline that doesn't let your attention go elsewhere. Altercations is a part footwork part jungle stepper that really sounds nothing like anything I've heard before in the 160bpm scene! The title track is a little off in my opinion compared to the rest of the album, butthe final track with fellow 160 craftsman Fracture is a tidy jungle number that makes me bounce around like a kid. Definitely worth buying!!
