- Dump Truck is absolutely bananas!!! It rocks in every sense of the word. The drums and jazzy elements give it a very "live" feel that you don't get on your average record these days. Repeatedly on this record, the Cobblestone crew cuts the bassline out, gets all funky with the guitar twings and then BWOOSH the bassline comes rolling through with bells and whistles and horns to boot. This track would absolutely destroy a big space. Indoor, outdoor, you name it. There's nothing else like this in my collection.
- Edited 18 years agoI just adore this record. Bleepy and hooky as hell and with jazz noodlings thrown in to boot. It's records like this one that continue to fuel my fire just when I think everything has lost its soul and I hear something like this and BAM I am born again hard. Excellent record with great jacket work too.
