Are these Columbia 2014 represses using the same stampers as the Music on Vinyl pressing? Surprised to see MOVLP 567 in the dead wax. Not the most dynamic sounding record, but very quiet and flat. Still sounds better than the CD for sure. As Flaming Lips fans know, with David Fridmann as producer compression is unavoidable, even on vinyl.

I need to say the quality of this pressing is so bad , flat , too compressed…

I’ve never heard the “original master” vinyl but wow this remaster blew me away. Especially the bassline in “Time To Pretend” really blew me away because it sounds nothing like what it does digitally, way more “real sounding” and coming to life. The wax is pretty silent and I didn’t hear much static. Overall great record, buy it!

This is a really solid pressing, next to no flaws. A few soft clicks on Side B but that's it. My only critique is that I find the bass is really pronounced, like a little too forward in the mix. Other than that, it's great.

What a delight. Listening to “Kids” on this pressing is like listening to my own kids. I hate them but also love them. Perfect release.

This is a really nice pressing, it is super quiet and sounds great overall. I do wish it had a little more punch in the bass and the drums could “hit” with a little more weight but the sound is extremely clean and clear.

This is a superb pressing. Spacious and airy, great dynamics, deep and defined bass. Vinyl is virtually free of surface noise.
