- Edited 6 years agoGood music, ruined by a poor pressing.
They'll tell you that you don't need a separate master for Vinyl, that you can use the master mix you have for cd for Vinyl, not so.
Is this just horribly mastered. Over modulated? Distortion in the volume peaks, horrid and detracts from the pleasure of listening . . . . . massively.
They sell vinyl to the kids and the kids I guess expect it to sound ropey, they don't know how good it can sound. Listen to these tunes on Youtube, they sound better in a lo rez MP3!
Was this pressed in some dodgy Czech pressing plant. A bit of a 'mickey' take at £20 for a copy. I feel fleeced.
The music would have been good to listen to, get it on cd, save your money, unless you live in Hoxton and just have to have it on Lp. it'll be one to sit on the shelves and get dusty, because it's too sad to listen to on record. Rozi, you need to tell off whoever convinced you it sounded alright, because you should've been able to tell, you've got good ears, I can tell.
